MISSION STATEMENT

We help fulfill the mission statement of Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church by making disciples for Jesus Christ according to:

Matthew 28:19-20
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

We do this in the following ways:

Prison Ministry...endeavors to reach the lost through visiting correctional institutions, jails, prisons, and youth detention centers, where we present the Gospel of Jesus Christ that will change mindsets, transform and change lives in meaningful ways. We've discovered the best way to transform a community is to transform the people within them. Our goal is to develop programs and services that will impact the offenders, ex-offenders, family members and those affected by the offender.

Matthew 25:35-36-
For I was an hungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”

Shelter Ministry …Our mission is to make an impact on the lives of the homeless and provide some assistance in their time of displacement/transition to housing. This is demonstrated by expressing the love of Jesus Christ in our words and deeds; by providing basic packages to women, men, and children - i.e., clothing, shoes, toiletries, food; and, GED training, preparation for job interviews, and mentoring. The LOH Shelter Ministry rejoices in bringing hope to the hopeless, witnessing souls saved, the backsliders reclaimed, and the joy of Jesus embraced.

St. Matthew 25: 35 - 40 "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Street Ministry..…Our mission is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the least; the last; and the lost. Exhibiting the Love of Christ in a real, relevant, and relational way;
going into the hedges and highways, compelling men and women to come into a saving knowledge of our wonderful Lord; in a non-judgmental, caring, and compassionate way; with Jesus being our prime example. Remembering, we are saved to serve!

Luke 14: 23 “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highway and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
