"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Roman 10:9

Salvation is a gift from God that is made readily available to all of us. To receive salvation we must do what is written in Romans 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt beleive in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart of man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation". Acts 16:31 records these words, "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being a "good person". It is a matter of faith. The gospel also offers you a promise, to save you from the penalty of sin; we must believe it.

What must you do to complete your salvation?

1. You must admit that you are a sinner.

2. You must repent of your sins.

3. You must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

There is a prayer you can pray right now...
Lord, I admit that I have sinned and made myself unclean before you. I understand that I deserve death as the penalty for my sins, and I believe that Jesus Christ paid this price for my sins, and I believe that Jesus Christ paid this price with His Blood. I want to turn away from my life-style of selfishness and sin; I repent. I confess Jesus Christ as my Savior and I put Him in control of my life as my Lord. This I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
